OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing
regarding Local Law Intro #3 of 2009
will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Grand Island, Erie County, New
York on
Monday, the 15th day of June 2009
at 8:00 PM
to consider an application by
Redtek Development LLC,
7 Catherine Street, Williamsville, NY 14221
for a change to the zoning classification for
property at:
2555 Grand Island Boulevard, Grand Island, New York
14072
from B-1 to R-3
for
multi-family senior citizen apartments
WHICH
PREMISES ARE DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS
ALL
THAT TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND situate in the Town of Grand Island, County of Erie
and State of New York, being part of Lot No.82, situate in the Town of Grand
Island as the same has been surveyed and bounded and described on the Field Book
and Map of the said Island on file in the Office of the Secretary of the State
of New York, described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the east line of the West half of said Lot No. 82, which
point is 861.08 feet deed vs 858.88 feet measure south of the center line of the
Bedell Road measured on said east line of the west half of Lot No. 82;
running thence southerly along said east line of the west half of Lot No.
82, 773.65 feet more or less, to a point; thence westerly at right angles
to the previously mentioned course along the northerly line of lands conveyed to
James F. Henwood and Olga E., his wife recorded in the Erie County Clerk’s
Office in Liber 5007, of Deeds at page 191 a distance of 171.22 feet to a point;
running thence southerly parallel to the west line of the east one half of Lot
82 a distance of 329.66 feet to the northeasterly line of Grand Island Boulevard
(formerly known as Express Highway); thence northwesterly along the
northeasterly line of said Grand Island Boulevard 389.18 feet to the west line
of lands conveyed to Ira F. Varney and Alberta C. Varney, his wife, by Edwin D.
Klopp and Jennie H. Klopp, his wife, by deed dated September 25, 1946 and
recorded in Erie County Clerk’s Office in Liber 3992, of Deeds page 245;
thence northerly along said westerly line of lands so conveyed 751.12 feet to
the southwest corner of lands conveyed to Edward F. Long, and Clara, his wife,
be deed dated December 6, 1946, and recorded in Erie county Clerk’s Office in
Liber 4057 of Deeds at page 450; thence easterly along the south bounds of
said lands conveyed to Long by said last mentioned deed, 379.5 feet to the place
of beginning. Containing 7.300+/- Acres.
