Local Law Intro #8 of
2008
Notice is hereby given
that the Town of Grand Island Town Board will hold a public hearing at 8 p.m. on
December 15, 2008, at Town Hall, 2255 Baseline Road, Grand Island, New York, to
consider and possibly adopt a Local Law to provide for a exemption from real
property taxes for residential real property owned by persons who rendered
military services to the United States during the Cold War in accordance with
Section 458-b of the Real Property Tax Law.
At that time, all interested members of the public shall be heard.
Full copies of the proposed Local Law are available for inspection in the
office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 2255 Baseline Road, Grand Island, New York.
